Dirt Road Souls are a Boston-based roots-rock trio blending the grit of classic rock ’n’ roll with the heart and storytelling of Americana. Rooted in the traditions of American music, their sound is raw, soulful, and unapologetically human — driven by vintage guitars, infectious grooves, and songs that explore love, loss, redemption, and the roads in between.

Their debut album, (The Life and Times of) Johnny Moonshine, is a 12-song roots-rock opera tracing the journey of a troubled antihero through a world of love, vice, struggle, and salvation. Cinematic in scope yet grounded in the simplicity of a three-piece band, the record brings its characters and stories to life through timeless songwriting and an unmistakably live, organic sound.
